Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. After having lived with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor-Joy stated the relocation was painful, and she refused to study English in the hope of go back to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and participated in the drama department. At 16, she left school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actor. She was given a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her an opportunity as a model.
