Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles to a middle-class family. Her childhood was filled with big dreams. Her most memorable roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the drama Precious. The majority of her childhood was lived at Los Angeles where she came from a family of middle-class. She was raised by her mother, who was a fan of films. Paula was involved with her school's cocurricular activities and particularly awed by drama. She loved being in stage shows with her friends. After performing in a variety of shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School She decided to pursue acting her career. She was a student at the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved it. She won a three-month assignment making documentaries for PBS. She began her career as a production assistant for TV when she completed this assignment. She then moved to produce documentaries. Even though she loved working in the field, she wanted to become an actor. She launched her acting career by playing a supporting role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's been in numerous well-known television and film shows.
